Original message as of Tuesday, March 4th 2025
As of Tuesday 4th March, the latest news and weather forecast anticipates Tropical Cyclone Alfred making landfall late Thursday evening or early hours of Friday morning, somewhere between Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, with the most intense rainfalls expected to be south of where TC Alfred crosses the coastline. Severe winds, rainfall and flooding are forecasted to continue impacting many areas across Southeast Queensland and North Eastern New South Wales over Thursday, 6th March and Friday, 7th March.
Our utmost concern is the safety and wellbeing of our staff, our customers and the wider community therefore, depending on the development and impact of the cyclone, it is possible that the opening of our Head Office and dealerships across the Westpoint Group may be affected over the course of the week. Whilst Westpoint Autos continuously aims to provide exceptional levels of service and to accommodate all of our valued customers motoring needs, there is the possibility that the impacts of TC Alfred may prohibit our usual forms of communications, sales, service, parts and finance offerings. Whilst all efforts will be made to minimise disruption, the impact of this weather event over the coming days remains uncertain and beyond our control, we trust you understand and accept our apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Westpoint Autos would like to wish our team members, customers and communities good health and safety over the coming days and hope that Tropical Cyclone Alfred has minimal impact on us all.
We look forward to welcoming you back to our dealerships soon.
